After walking 3d courses and going to local shoots with her husband Chris, Ashley knew that archery was something that she really wanted to get into to and in July of 2012 she bought her first bow it wasn’t long before she caught the competitive bug and started competing in her local indoor, 3d, and field leagues. Traveling in 2013 to her first ever national championship, she placed first in her flight.
